Research Forum
FIPP held a Research Forum on 18-19 March 2010 in The Netherlands, which was kindly hosted by FIPP member publisher Sanoma Uitgevers at their headquarters in Hoofddorp.

The Research Forum is a two-day event designed for publishers, research professionals and marketing executives. It has in the past attracted some of the world’s leading magazine research professionals, who meet to discuss the latest issues and developments in the industry.
The key objectives of the Forum are:
- To discuss a number of topics identified as the most pressing current magazine research issues by the FIPP’s Research Committee
- To enable participants to debate, compare notes and learn from each other’s recent experience, to the benefit of everyone’s work
- For FIPP to circulate the key points, to help improve magazine research around the world
- Speakers and attendees are given the opportunity to present any relevant research from their company, national association or agency as well as talk about any large-scale developments in their country.
Delegates in the past have attended from more than 15 countries including Argentina, Philippines, South Africa and the US.

What is the FIPP Research Forum?
The event has previously been hosted in Warsaw, Amsterdam and Budapest. The Research Forum is limited to a maximum 50 of delegates, all of whom are able to openly discuss issues concerning their market or a particular sector. Where appropriate, attendees are given the opportunity to give a presentation, about research from their publishing house, national association or agency as well as any large scale developments within their country. |
