FIPP Research
FIPP’s role is to facilitate the sharing of research on an international scale, to encourage awareness and adoption of best practice for both editorial and advertising research and to deploy the strongest evidence for the effectiveness of magazine advertising.
The association maintains a database of several hundred published research studies (summaries and/or complete reports), which is updated regularly.
International Research Committee The FIPP International Research Committee meets three or four times a year, and in between meetings, conducts its business by email. The committee consists of 25 members from 24 companies in 12 countries.
Publications Original research is carried out by FIPP, such as the series of Routes to Success reports on magazine websites. The association also produces an annual statistical report, FIPP World Magazine Trends, which provides industry information about consumer and business-to-business magazine markets in 54 countries. Used by publishers, advertisers, analysts and academics alike, it is highly regarded as the most comprehensive publication of its type.
Global Research Update
Members can also benefit from receiving a quarterly global research update which gives information on some of the latest research studies or events relevant to magazine publishers. If you would like to propose a survey or research-related event for inclusion on the website, please email FIPP's research consultant, Guy Consterdine or visit consterdine.com.
