The Czech Association of Magazine Publishers (UVDT) has put forward a draft of a new Czech Press Act to the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. The draft was accepted by Act of Parliament in July and UVDT is drafting amendments in line with those prepared by the Government which adjust the provisions that could limit freedom of speech or those that contradict European Union standards and principles.
