Attic Media launches a monthly football magazine

UK publisher Attic Media has announced plans to launch a new magazine called  Kick which focuses on the lifestyles of the football players worshipped by the young fans and behind-the-scenes gossip at the big clubs.

The same title was launched in Germany last year, where it sells over 80,000 copies and the publisher is hoping to capture readers‘ interest in the run-up to this summer‘s World Cup.

The first issue of Kick will be heavily promoted through national trade marketing and covermounts, including a mini table football game, a DVD trading card and posters.

The first issue will be launched on 16 February, priced £1.99.
