Lucire LLC based in New Zealand has announced plans to launch Lucire, the global fashion magazine in America.
The American edition will, editorially, be identical to the edition currently published in New Zealand, and moves are being made to replicate the paper stock and size that has found so much favour internationally.
Founding publisher Jack Yan said: “What we have in the United States is a strong brand. It makes sense to enter the US now, while we are growing in our other markets.‘
The principle of Lucire is that there is a single edition for our planet, with globally oriented content,‘ he says.
Readers in the United States can be assured that the quality of the magazine remains extremely high, bettering anything on the market presently,‘ says Mr Yan. ‘No sacrifices, no dumbing-down, no adjustments will be made to change our editorial stance. We have always been an intelligent read, and we will continue to be an intelligent read. Our layouts have always been a visual feast, and that will also continue.‘
The American edition of Lucire will be launched in 2006.
