Buzzwords of 2015

The term “clickbait” peaks in May 2015 when it was added to the Merriam Webster Dictionary. It takes off again in autumn, together with “brand awareness”, which had been searched for most of all six terms in the beginning of this year.

“Paywall” and “engagement rate” are the steady midfield throughout the year, while “content curation” and “ad fraud” are the terms least searched for throughout the year.
