The New York Times launches Chinese Monthly

The magazine launches on 1 May with a print run of 50,000 and will be available in luxury hotels, airline lounges, high-end residential complexes, premium outlets and on newsstands across Hong Kong and Macau. The magazine will cover world news and opinion, fashion, shopping and food, business and technology news and personal wealth. Twenty per cent of the content will be devoted to local news and events in Hong Kong and Macau.

The Chinese Monthly will be produced by the International New York Times, in collaboration with cn.NYTimes.com, the Chinese-language website of The New York Times. The editorial content will be overseen by Ching-Ching Ni, editor in chief of cn.NYTimes.com.
