Rising Stars in Media Awards – Deadline extended to 7 August

Awards entries are therefore still open in all categories :

– Student Award – new for 2020, open to university students (or teams of students) from media, journalism and publishing courses across the world, to demonstrate success in project work delivered as part of their course;

– Individual Award (Journalism) – we’re looking for the best examples of quality, hard-hitting journalism from new journalists across the world. This award is open to anyone working for a reputable media outlet – whether news, entertainment, B2B or specialist. Journalism can be in any format – written, audio or video;

– Individual Award (Business) – we’re looking for the most talented individuals in any aspect of the media business. Entries can come from any non-journalism field, including marketing, sales, distribution, research and operations (this list is not exhaustive);

The individual awards are open to anyone who is either under 30 years of age or has been in the media industry for less than 5 years.

The FIPP & UPM Rising Stars in Media Awards are established as one of the most prestigious and important recognitions of young talent in the industry. They are a great way to celebrate your success or that of your team-mates, enabling you to stand out from the crowd.

A reminder that the overall winner, chosen from amongst all the individual award winners, wins the coveted title of “FIPP Rising Star of the Year” and a seat on the FIPP Board for a year.
