Executive Programme for Innovation and Change
FIPP with Oxford University’s Saïd Business School have created a new professional development programme – the Executive Programme for Innovation and Change (EPIC). It will commence on 7 July 2014.
It is designed for executives with significant management and strategic responsibilities in their companies, who are likely to be CEO’s or Board members of small and medium sized enterprises, or divisional level executives at larger companies.
The programme aims to help these managers strategically take their companies through these times of digital disruption.
Teaching will be led by a world-class business faculty who will draw on a wide range of case studies from many industries, with additional input from senior magazine media experts. It will also aim to draw on experts from other industries who have successfully transitioned through digital disruption.

Digital Innovators’ Tour
The brand new Digital Innovators’ Tour was an opportunity to experience the entrepreneurial spirit in the San Francisco Bay area and Seattle first-hand, and rub shoulders with your industry peers while learning.
FIPP and the co-hosts of the Digital Innovators’ Summit in Berlin - VDZ and eMediaSF - organised the first Digital Innovators’ Tour to San Francisco and Seattle in May.
About the Tour
The San Francisco Bay area and Seattle is the world of Apple, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Intel and Microsoft and many, many more. It is where many trends are seeded, and where opportunities (and challenges, to be fair!) for content businesses emerge.
On the tour participants heard directly from movers and shakers in the technology and digital media world. They visited start-ups, large technology companies and innovative media companies, met key people and felt the energy of innovation in San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Seattle first-hand. They came away with not only better insight into their operations, their views on the future and potential opportunities, but also with new-found energy and international business contacts.
