Ma-li Yang is president and editor-in-chief of Global Views Magazine in Chinese Taipei. She'll be speaking at the 41st FIPP World Congress, taking place from 9-11 October in London.
Ma-Li Yang has won more than 20 journalism awards including Golden Tripod Awards and Vivian Wu Journalism Awards, SOPA, and more. Global Views in turn has won 60 journalism awards since Ma-Li was appointed as editor-in-chief in 2006.
In 2009, Ma-Li also took on the role of president of Global Views. Prior to this, roles included editorial management positions including deputy managing editor between 2001 and 2005 at Commonwealth Magazine. Ma-Li holds an EMBA (2008), Master of Environmental Science (1998), and BA in English Literature (1986).
Global Views Magazine focuses on finance, economics, management, technology, and humanities. Launched in 1986, it has become a must-read for entrepreneurs and middle managers and senior executives in Chinese Taipei. It covers a variety of industries with in-depth, quality reporting from around the world, including with translation rights for articles from business media such as MIT Technology Review.
