“Unreel helps Zinio meet a growing demand among publishers for video streaming services by offering best-in-class OTT technology,” said Kelly Conlin, president and CEO of Zinio. “Video has quickly become an important component of the editorial mix of magazine content, and adding Unreel’s OTT services to Zinio’s technology platform will help publishers distribute and monetize their growing library of video content.”

“Zinio is the perfect partner to deliver Unreel’s technology to the magazine publishing industry,” said Unreel’s CEO, Dan Goikhman. “Magazine publishers have been creating video content for years and we’re excited to help them create new distribution and revenue channels for that content; Publishers can leverage their existing partnership with Zinio and begin benefiting from Unreel’s industry-leading OTT services immediately.”

OTT video streaming services allow publishers to fully control their owned video content, unlocking new revenue opportunities through the sale of videos, subscription services, and ads. Publishers with Zinio-powered apps will have access to OTT in Q1. Other publishers can access OTT beginning in Q2 in 2018.
