Groupe Marie Claire to launch Harper’s Bazaar in France

Groupe Marie Claire is to launch a French edition of Hearst Magazines’ fashion title Harper’s Bazaar.

Harper’s Bazaar is a luxury brand with great global relevance and a sophisticated point of view” said Duncan Edwards, president of Hearst Magazines International. “Over the past few years, Bazaar’s reach has expanded to Argentina, Brazil, Poland, Spain, and most recently, Germany, and we’re pleased to partner with Groupe Marie Claire to launch an edition in France, home to so much of the world’s great fashion.”
 
“We are thrilled to partner with Hearst to bring Harper’s Bazaar to France and to welcome Alexandra Senes as editor in chief,” said Arnaud de Contades, CEO of Groupe Marie Claire. “Alexandra is an influential fashion journalist and tastemaker whose editorial expertise and creativity will shape Harper’s Bazaar in France.”
