Justine Picardie, editor-in-chief, Harper’s Bazaar, says: “Literature has always been at the heart of Harper’s Bazaar — in its 150 year history, it has published Thomas Hardy, Henry James, Virginia Woolf, and we continue to publish some of the greatest writers in the world, including Margaret Atwood, Ali Smith and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I am thrilled to announce the launch of The Bazaar Literary Salon, which will be an expertly curated experience that celebrates talented women in the literary world, and will provide our intelligent, cultured and discerning audience a unique insight into the publishing industry.”

The Bazaar Literary Salon is part of Hearst UK’s wider Big Book initiative, which aims to recognise the best new fiction and non-fiction titles in UK publishing.
