Paul Keenan appointed to the Bauer Media Group Board

Paul Keenan has been appointed to the Bauer Media Group Executive Board as COO. In this role he will lead the business through the next phase of the business’s transformation.

Paul’s career spans journalism, publishing and broadcasting, having most recently led the transformation of Bauer Media Audio into Europe’s leading commercial radio broadcaster and audio group. He has led the development and growth of the business to now reach 57 million listeners weekly through 110 brands across eight countries spanning the UK, Ireland, Poland, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. 

Paul will sit on the Executive Board with four responsible members:

• Yvonne Bauer herself will be for the business and, as owner and CEO, will directly lead the four Business Areas maximising their potential.
• Paul Keenan will be appointed COO leading the transformation and creating impact through the organisation.
• Anna Sedgley will remain CFO, supporting the business and transformation through excellent financial services.
• Gerald Mai will be appointed CLO (Chief Legal Officer), supporting the business and transformation through legal expertise.
