New VP EMEA for Meta

Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook, has a new Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Angelika Gifford, who joined the company in 2020 will be taking over from Nicola Mendelsohn, who was recently promoted to become Vice President for the Global Business Group.

Angelika’s previous role was to represent Meta to partners, policymakers, nonprofits and community organisations across 34 countries in Central Europe.

She has over 30 years’ experience working for leading technology companies including Hewlett-Packard (HP), where she led the software and digitisation business for German-speaking countries, and Microsoft where she held a wide variety of senior management positions across the region.
