Future plc releases 15th annual T3 Awards shortlist for consumer electronics

International media group Future plc has announced the shortlist for the 2021 T3 Awards, Britain’s longest-running consumer electronic awards now in its 15th year.

The T3 Awards 2021, showcased by the smart living magazine and website T3, is celebrating with its biggest ever programme. This year’s awards will feature 94 categories from dashcams to drones, and from TVs to tents. In recognition of the new skills demanded by remote working in the past year, there is also a brand new WFH Heroes award.

“We’re hugely excited about the further expansion of the awards in 2021 and, more importantly, keeping them relevant by introducing new categories such as WFH Heroes that reflect the huge changes in the way we’ve lived our lives since the start of 2020,” said Paul Newman, Managing Director for T3.

As well as announcing the shortlisted products in all of T3’s core areas – tech, AV, home and garden, watches, travel, outdoors, auto, wellness, and fitness – T3 has also announced the shortlists for its “headline” categories: Brand Of The Year, Retailer Of The Year, Tech Innovation Award, Best Gadget Under £100, Best Gadget Under $100, and Gadget Of The Year.

The annual awards, launched in 2007, were created to recognise the best consumer products in technology, lifestyle, and in between.

“The T3 Awards are all about helping people discover the things that make a real difference to their lives, products they’ll treasure,” said Paul Douglas, Content Director for T3. “There are over 90 T3 Awards categories this year, reflecting the breadth of product coverage we now do.”

The T3 editorial team will reveal the results of this year’s awards winners during the week commencing 7 June 2021.
