Bauer launches digital business fund, Bauer Venture Partners
Bauer Media, which owns a number of magazines, radio stations and TV stations, has established the “Bauer Venture Partners” fund and will invest over the next ten years in digital business models across Europe, according to Tech City News.
The privately owned company is one of the biggest media companies in Europe and operates in 16 countries worldwide.
Andreas Schoo, member of the executive board of the Bauer Media Group, hopes the fund will give them access to “new technologies, teams and innovations in the digital field.”
Bauer have partnered with Thomas Preuss, previously of German early-stage VC firm Neuhaus Partners, who will act as managing partner for Bauer Venture Partners.
