CEO coach and author Kevin Lawrence joins speaker line-up
His highly-praised book “Your Oxygen Mask First” draws on twenty years’ experience of coaching CEOs and senior executives to explain why today’s leaders need to help themselves before helping others. In his session, he’ll share his no-nonsense insights on how to create lasting organisational and personal change.
“What I’ve learned in working with really high performing leaders and CEOs all around the world is that they often, and sooner or later, will succumb to their own success. These amazing people are usually up to great things in the world and they accomplish things that other people admire. They continue, no matter what obstacles are put in front of them, to make things happen. Until they don’t. Until they hit that wall,” he says.
Kevin continues: “They get to that point where all the tools, tricks and techniques that they have used stop working. And unfortunately, these people start to feel like a failure, like they’re not good enough, and like they are alone in all of this. What I get really excited about in working with these leaders, is sharing with them the view that they aren’t alone, that lots of people face the same challenges, they are actually predictable, and they can be tackled.”
Alongside his presentation, Kevin will be available to meet Congress attendees on Wednesday 13 November. The first 200 registered delegates will receive a free, signed copy of Kevin’s book.
