China Automotive News launches local edition of evo
China Automotive News has this month launched a Chinese edition of Dennis Publishing’s car title, evo, as the result of a licensing agreement. Evo China is published monthly with a cover price of 15 CNY (€1.82).
Dennis Publishing’s international licensing director, Ian Bedwell, said: “2013 has been a great year for evo internationally. The content from the magazine translates very well and has a global appeal for motoring enthusiasts, making it the perfect candidate for international licensing. Confirming China as a new territory for Dennis with the evo license is a great start to the year and truly cements the magazine as an international brand. We are already in talks with potential partners for more evo licenses in the coming months.”
Vince Zhang, from China Automotive News, said: “We are very excited about licensing evo in China. The luxury car market is growing and there is a large demand for quality automotive content. 2013 was a very successful year for car sales in China which looks set to continue into 2014, so we are confident that the new launch will be very well received by readers and advertisers alike.”
The title boasts 18 licensed editions in 33 international territories.
