Condé Nast Entertainment appoints Croi McNamara SVP of programming

In this role, McNamara will oversee the creative development of the company’s digital video content and work with the Condé Nast brand editorial staff to ensure the company’s creative vision is being implemented.

McNamara will report directly to CNÉ president Dawn Ostroff and partner with Bruce Perlmutter, senior vice president of production, to produce the content. McNamara most recently served as vice president and general manager at Upworthy Media, where she grew monthly video views to more than 300 million.

“Croi has deep experience in developing both digital and linear content in new formats for today’s distribution platforms,” said Ostroff. “Our digital video network finished 2016 as number one in comScore’s lifestyle category, and we were number one for ten of the past twelve months. Croi’s creative expertise will help us innovate our video storytelling as we take our network to the next level.”*

CNÉ produces more than 5,000 pieces of original digital content per year, spanning all genres – documentaries, animation, comedies, celebrity and how-to.

“CNÉ’s digital video network is unique in the marketplace – no other company offers more quality programming, diversity of content, iconic brands or scale and reach,” said McNamara.  “I’m looking forward to working with the creative team at CNÉ and across the portfolio of Condé Nast as we develop and produce engaging content for a new generation of viewers.”
