Facebook to launch news app with dozens of publishers

According to the Financial Times, Notify will act like any other news aggregator — users sign up to follow media outlets or news topics that they enjoy, and the content is collected for them. The app is expected to debut next week.

Naturally, publishers are all in on Notify. Just like Facebook’s Instant Articles, they can’t afford to be left behind. Initial partners include Vogue, Mashable, CNN, The New York Times, The Atlantic, BuzzFeed, The Washington Post, Billboard and more.
