Jason Burnett named Executive Editor of Allrecipes.com

Burnett, who most recently founded OysterObsession.com, was digital director of Flower magazine, the founding editor of MyRecipes and an editor at CookingLight.com and AOL Food.

As Executive Editor, Burnett leads the Allrecipes.com editorial and social team and works closely with Allrecipes Magazine Editor in Chief Jennifer Darling. His editorial oversight includes Allrecipes.com’s onsite experiences, voice skills, smart appliances, app and podcasts. Allrecipes publishes reviews from home cooks, reviews kitchen tools and appliances, reports on new food products and cooking trends and shares stories from the Allrecipes community of more than 50 million home cooks. The brand helps home cooks shop, budget and make healthier and sustainable choices in the kitchen.

Allrecipes recently announced a new licensing agreement with Lifetime Brands of Garden City, New York, for a robust line of kitchen tools, food prep and storage containers, bakeware, and cutlery products to be made under the Allrecipes® trademark.
