Vivendi CEO, Arnaud de Puyfontaine, amongst first group of speakers to be announced for Congress

Arnaud de Puyfontaine, Vivendi CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, has been announced amongst the first round of speakers set to take to the stage at this year’s FIPP World Media Congress. French-based media giant Vivendi appointed De Puyfontaine as Chairman of the Management Board and CEO in June 2014, prior to which he held positions at Hearst Magazines International, Editions Mondadori France and EMAP.

His keynote at Congress will focus on the broader industry, including macro trends currently impacting – or set to impact – media. It will challenge attendees to think about the future of their organisations and brands, and encourage them to consider their relationships with audiences.

The 44th FIPP World Media Congress will take place from 7-9 June in Lisbon-Cascais, Portugal, and is the first time the flagship convening has taken place live and in-person since Las Vegas in 2019! ?

Activities

Of course, Congress has never solely been about its on-stage programme, and as we move out of lockdown and back into the world of real-life events, that is particularly true in 2022.

  • There will be ample time for networking, meetings, and catching up with colleagues old and new.
  • We will have networking drinks on the evenings of 7 and 8 June.
  • There will be a Congress walking and running club on the mornings of 8 and 9 June.
  • This year will see extended breakfasts, coffee, lunch and networking breaks.
  • And for those who just want to get away from things for a while, you can here read more about what the beautiful coastal town of Cascais, and the nearby city of Lisbon has to offer!
