53 speakers, 502 delegates from 34 countries and counting

The DIS takes place on 23-24 March 2015 in Berlin, Germany. Register now.

With two weeks remaining to the DIS we already had 502 registered delegates, from 34 countries, and 32 confirmed sponsors, with leading media exhibitors, the Google House-experience and a wearable technology stand to satisfy the geek in you.

Informal networking

In addition to the formal business side of the DIS, there will be ample time for informal networking.

Delegates are invited to join us for the Digital Innovators’ Summit VIP Drinks on Sunday evening 22 March at 7:30 pm CET at the me Collectors Room, Auguststrasse 68, 10117 Berlin [map]

Please pre-register (there is no cost involved) with Anja Mumm by emailing her at a.mumm@vdz.de.

At the end of the Summit programme on day one (23 March), everyone is invited to join us for drinks and networking in the expo area at the venue before going to dinner with colleagues and friends.

And once you’ve had dinner, delegates are invited to join us and other delegates for DIS Late. Enjoy a cocktail, beer or whisky and decide whether to relax and unwind in the unique décor of the Newton Bar, or use this time to kick-start the party…the choice is yours. Newton Bar at Gendarmenmarkt, Charlottenstrasse 57, 10117, Berlin [map].

*Please note that the DIS Late is not a sponsored evening and delegates are responsible for their own bar tab

Experience startup Berlin

Berlin is considered one of the top startup hubs in the world, and we provide opportunities to experience this first hand.

There is still time to book a place for one of our two Meet the Founder half-day tours at the Digital Innovators’ Summit in Berlin (but do not wait until the last minute as places are limited).

There is a tour on Sunday 22 March and one on Tuesday afternoon 24 March.

Delegates are welcome to pop in at the DIS@Mediahackday, which takes place on 21 and 22 March (the presentations and prize giving will be between 1:30 pm and 4 pm CET on 22 March).

Here you will see how hackers congregate for two days around pizzas, drinks and their laptops to compete for prizes for the smartest prototypes. This year’s hackathon is all about the connected car.

It takes place at Axel Springer Plug and Play at 14 Markgrafenstrasse, Berlin, 10969 [map].

This is just some of the things that will happen at and around DIS 2015. Visit the DIS website to find out more. And if you haven’t booked yet, what are you waiting for? Join us there.
