DIS2020 postponed; will now run in parallel with FIPP Congress in Portugal in September
We take the health and wellbeing of our attendees, speakers and business partners very seriously. The position in relation to the outbreak has significantly deteriorated in recent days, with public gatherings, mandatory quarantine and travel restrictions in place in a number of countries.
With more than 60 speakers and several hundred delegates from 30+ countries ready to attend, and with support from committed sponsors large and small, we believe it is in everyone’s interest to postpone rather than cancel the summit.
We have therefore decided to run DIS 2020 in parallel with the 43rd FIPP World Media Congress in Estoril, Portugal, September 14th-16th 2020. All existing delegate registrations will remain valid and, to thank you all for your patience and understanding, we will in addition provide free access to the FIPP Congress.
Please expect communication to everyone shortly. This will be the first DIS held outside Germany but this is only a temporary measure. 2021 DIS will be back in Berlin.
