Eugenia de la Torriente announced as new editor-in-chief of Vogue Spain
Javier Pascual del Olmo, President of Condé Nast Spain, commented, “I’m very much looking forward to working with Eugenia. She is an outstanding fashion journalist.”
Eugenia is one of the most respected fashion voices in Spain. Prior to her role at Vogue, she was editor-in-chief of the Spanish edition of Harper’s Bazaar, as well as fashion editor of El Pais, and editor of El Pais Semanal. Eugenia has also worked as a professor and regular seminar speaker, and has published several books on fashion.

“It is a huge honour to be part of such a legendary magazine that has defined much of my fashion education,” commented Eugenia. “I am passionate about keeping the level of excellence my predecessors have set, and look forward to contributing to the future of Vogue in Spain.”
Eugenia replaces former editor-in-chief Yolanda Sacristán who held the position for 16 years.
Ana García-Siñeriz has also joined the company this week as Principal of Condé Nast College Spain, the company’s education wing. Ana is a successful journalist, writer and TV personality whose previous roles include host, editor and producer at Canal+ and CNN in Spain. In this newly created position, as well as overseeing the Condé Nast education programme in Spain, Ana will manage PR, communications and Special Events.

The Condé Nast College Spain launched in 2003 to offer a Vogue Masters Degree in Fashion and Communication working in collaboration with the University Carlos III in Madrid. Now in its twelfth year, further courses will be developed in response to demand.
