FIPP announces media partnership with Press Gazette for World Congress

FIPP, connecting global media, is pleased to announce Press Gazette as the official media partner for the upcoming FIPP World Media Congress.

FIPP’s World Media Congress, recognised as a premier global gathering for media leaders, will bring together top executives, innovators, and decision-makers to discuss the evolving landscape of publishing and content. Press Gazette, established in 1965, has been a key voice in the media industry for decades, providing in-depth analysis, breaking news, and expert commentary.

This partnership strengthens the longstanding relationship between the two organisations, reinforcing their shared commitment to supporting the media industry through thought leadership, innovation, and collaboration.

FIPP’s 2025 Congress, held in Madrid from 21st to 23rd October 2025, will mark a historic milestone – its 100th anniversary – and will celebrate a century of innovation and leadership in the global media industry.

As part of the agreement, Press Gazette will provide dedicated editorial coverage of the Congress, ensuring that key discussions, insights, and takeaways reach a wide and engaged industry audience both in the lead-up to and following the event.

FIPP CEO Alastair Lewis commented: “We are delighted to be partnering with such an esteemed and well-known organisation as Press Gazette. Like FIPP, it has a long and established position in the media landscape and sets a blueprint for the future of our industry.”

Richard Jamieson, Chief Commercial Officer of Press Gazette, said: “I am pleased to be partnering with Alastair and the team at FIPP once again. At Press Gazette, we are very conscious of aligning with organisations that share our values of helping publishers and media to thrive in the digital age. The World Congress is one of a handful of events that stand out in a very busy year for our industry, and we are proud to be the official media partner.”
