Harper’s Bazaar celebrates International Women’s Day

It is International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8th March 2022 and evergreen luxury, fashion, art and literary magazine Harper’s Bazaar, will be celebrating the following day with a champagne reception, dinner and a series of empowering talks at The Connaught, London. 

The organisers say that it will bring together inspiring women from the worlds of film, fashion, business and technology who are finding creative ways to change society for the better. Corporate partners include Clé de Peau Beauté, Veuve Clicquot and YPO

Among those lined up to address the audience are two-time Olivier Award-winning actress Ruth Wilson, who will discuss her remarkable career on stage and screen. Ruth will explain her attraction to playing complex female characters and the importance of telling stories with women at their heart.

Also set to speak is British fashion entrepreneur Anya Hindmarch, who will discuss harnessing emotion and creativity in running a business, and putting community and sustainability at the core of her commercial strategy.

Mathematician Anne-Marie Imafidon, who founded the pioneering social enterprise Stemettes, the Kabul-born entrepreneur Mursal Hedayat and the artist, financier and entrepreneur Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir will be part of a panel looking at how women are shaping the future.
