SpainMedia backs print with new launches

SpainMedia is putting its faith in print. The renowned Spanish publishing house has announced the launch of printed editions of two of its leading titles: Nautik and Highxtar – a significant milestone at a time when many publications are migrating exclusively to digital.

The move to print and a more tactile and visual experience is being spearheaded by Andrés Rodríguez, president of SpainMedia, publisher of Nautik and Highxtar and president of ARI (Spanish Association of Magazines).

Focusing on trends and urban lifestyle, Highxtar has established itself as an inspiring content platform for Generation Z, Millennials, early adopters and trend hunters with its unique fusion of luxury, art and events.

Meanwhile, Nautik, has positioned itself as a specialised source of information on the blue economy, combining current news with in-depth analysis of the maritime and coastal sector both nationally and internationally.

“Launching Nautik and Highxtar in paper is a testament to our commitment to quality journalism and reader experience,” said Rodríguez, adding that the new strategy supports his company’s commitment to editorial quality.

“As president of ARI, I am convinced that this step will strengthen not only SpainMedia, but the entire magazine industry in Spain.”
