The Closet Digest – British Vogue launches new podcast in partnership with Vinted
British Vogue has partnered with Vinted, Europe’s leading online marketplace for second-hand fashion, to launch The Closet Digest, a new podcast celebrating the memories and personal connections behind beloved wardrobe pieces.
Hosted by British Vogue’s Senior Sustainability and Features Editor, Emily Chan, the 10-episode series premieres on October 8, with each episode featuring fashion industry leaders, actors, and advocates.
Guests will include actor and musician Sheila Atim, actor and activist Laverne Cox, model and climate advocate Amber Valletta, Chioma Nnadi, British Vogue’s Head of Editorial Content, and Cecile Wickmann, Senior Director Luxury at Vinted.
Through conversations about key pieces in the wardrobes, from family heirlooms to vintage finds, the podcast will showcase how our clothes carry emotional value, encouraging a deeper appreciation for sustainable fashion. Emily Chan said, “It is so important to understand what makes us value and hold on to our clothes, which is why I’m so excited to be hosting The Closet Digest podcast.”
Alongside the podcast, Vogue will publish related editorial and social content to further amplify these stories.
Cécile Wickmann, Vinted’s Senior Director of Luxury, added: “Like Vogue, Vinted is dedicated to catering to fashion enthusiasts who share a passion for unique luxury pieces. We as well want to foster a community by connecting people through their shared love of fashion and their personal stories related behind pre-loved treasures.”
The Closet Digest will be available on all major podcast platforms, with new episodes released weekly. You can listen to the first episode here.
