The PPA Festival Returns
The annual Professional Publishers Association (PPA) Festival returns on 25 April with an ambitious programme at The Brewery in London aimed at driving innovation and delivering success for the UK’s specialist media.
Attended by over 500 publishing professionals in consumer magazine and business media, the day will feature an agenda tailored to those involved with content, marketing, product, sales, people, creative, data, audience growth, events, audio, web, apps, video, print, and more.
The Festival is divided into four stages, each with a different focus. Aimed at marketers, subscription teams, SEO specialists, audience growth strategists, membership managers and publishers, the Audience stage looks at ways to connect with readers, from unbundling existing products, to tapping into the latest consumer trends.
The Content stage features editorial leaders who are breaking new ground in the battle for reader attention and is tailored towards editorial teams, writers, journalists as well as PR and communications specialists.
The Product stage caters to data specialists, product leaders, tech teams, insight gurus and revenue strategists and explores how technology continues to shape the lives of audiences and how they want publishers to interact with them.
And at the Together stage, executive teams, strategists, senior managers and HR directors will hear from strategic leaders, futurists, trends analysts, and policymakers, who’ll share their insight into the key opportunities and challenges impacting specialist content providers.
Among the more than 70 speakers at the PPA Festival will be Mel McVeigh, VP Product, Global Brands and Commerce at Condé Nast; Lucie Cave, Chief Creative Officer Podcasts and Commercial Content at Bauer Media; Jim Mcginty, Managing Director Western Europe and Nordics at Foundry; Lisa Smosarski, Editor in Chief at Stylist; Stuart Forrest, Senior Vice President Audience and Marketing at Future Plc; Lucy Kueng, Senior Visiting Research Fellow at Reuters Institute and Seema Kumari, Senior Director, Consumer Marketing & CRM at Hearst UK.
