Alkem Organisation to launch Cyclist in Turkey
Cyclist Turkey marks the third international edition of the title, and will launch this month. The other international editions are present in Germany and Australia.
Tufan Sagnak, publisher at Alkem Organisation said: “The Turkish edition of the magazine will cater to all branches of the sport, from racing to urban life, and the best clothing to wear to what coffee best fuels your ride, Cyclist Turkey will have it. We are delighted to be bringing Cyclist to the people of Turkey, and enabling current enthusiasts to indulge their passion, and hopefully introducing a whole new audience to the sport.”
Ian Bedwell, licencing director at Dennis Publishing said: “Having only been launched in late 2012 and now being the first road cycling title to be launched in Turkey gives us tremendous confidence in the title and its potential for further international growth. I am confident this will be among a number of announcements about Cyclist in 2015 concerning new international editions.”
Cyclist Turkey will be a monthly title, with the first edition hitting the newsstand, priced at 9.50 TRY (€3.30).
