Anita Gigovskaya appointed president of Condé Nast Russia

Condé Nast Russia has appointed Anita Gigovskaya as its new president. Gigovskaya will begin her new role in January 2013.

Gigovskaya is currently vice president and commercial director of Condé Nast Russia, and will succeed Karina Dobrotvorskaya, who has been named president and editorial director of brand development of Condé Nast International, the parent company of Condé Nast’s Russian operation.

Jonathan Newhouse, chairman of Condé Nast International, said, “Anita is a driven, accomplished operator who rose through the ranks and has mastered every facet of the business. She has played a key role in Condé Nast’s growth in the Russia and is the clear choice to lead the company.”
