His appointment, alongside Bianca-Maria Dardon, and Anne Müller, head of change and integration communication since July 2015, means the management team headed by Edda Fels is once again fully staffed with three team leaders.
Dardon and Theurer will jointly lead the team of PR managers and press spokespersons, covering the broad spectrum of topics ranging from corporate and brand communications, to corporate issues, and financial and M&A communications, as well as the communicative coordination of the national and international investment portfolio.

Edda Fels, Senior Vice President Corporate Communications said “Axel Springer is becoming increasingly international and increasingly digital. This means that corporate communications also has to deal with the new challenges posed digitisation and globalisation.
