Bauer launches Inside Empire, an events series exclusive to VIP Club members
Bauer today announced the launch of Inside Empire, a series of virtual events exclusive to the famous movie magazine’s VIP Club subscriber base. The first event will take place on Thursday 30th June, and feature a panel of Empire staffers discussing the art of the interview – from their favourite stars to sit down with, to their biggest conversational disasters.
“Ever wondered how Empire is made?” asked the magazine under a Twitter thread ANNOUNCEMENT ? banner… “Curious about what goes into the world-exclusive stories that you read each month? Want to get to know the team a little better? Introducing Inside Empire, a brand new series of events exclusively for VIP Club members!”
It’s a unique addition to the magazine’s premium subscriber offering, which packaged as the Empire VIP Club and already including offerings such as a subscription to the magazine, the Spoiler Special podcast, and an annual Picturehouse or My Cineworld Plus membership, is currently priced at £7.99 PCM.
The latest product to be added to the VIP Club suite builds in further value to what was already one of the industry’s most unique subscription offerings. In announcing the move, the magazine said:
“We’re pulling back the curtain on the process of how Empire interviews are arranged and conducted, and answering that often asked question: how exactly *do* you ask A-list talent how hairy their arse is? Full of practical tips for wannabe journalists and fun, revealing anecdotes for anyone interested in how Empire is put together, this first event will be held virtually on Thursday 30 June at 7pm BST, and is open exclusively to Empire VIP members.”
