Bauer Media announces new commercial, content and digital roles
Abby Carvosso becomes Group Managing Director of Bauer Advertising. Her remit is to build a strong alignment between commercial and content to provide advertising customers with competitive advantage in a highly dynamic market.
Rob Munro-Hall becomes Group MD, Magazine Media. He takes responsibility for all of Bauer Media UK’s lifestyle and specialist magazine media brands with the brief to accelerate the growth of the magazine brand business through the development of new magazines, events, experiences and brand extensions.
Sam Jones, Managing Director, Bauer Xcel will extend his responsibilities across all of Bauer Media’s digital activities in the UK. The inclusion of the digital teams and activities from Bauer’s specialist publishing division led by Charlie Calton-Watson further strengthens Bauer Media’s rapidly growing digital capability.

With the creation of this new Bauer Media UK leadership team, an outstanding management team launching new services to extend our radio business and the development of our new broadcast businesses in the Nordic markets we are well placed to realise the multiple opportunities such a dynamic market presents us with.”
Richard Dunmall, the current Bauer Advertising MD, leaves Bauer Media at the end of September, following the successful integration of the business’ print, broadcast and digital brands and assets into a single advertising operation.
Paul Keenan added “I would like to thank Richard for his contribution to our commercial operation which has resulted in a new and sharper focus. He leaves with our best wishes for the future.”
