Burda Russia has appointed a new management team in order to “reengineer” the company’s sales and marketing strategy.
The appointments are Christos Christou, corporate advertising director, and Svetlana Gaydukova, deputy corporate advertising director. “This development is an integral step in our new marketing philosophy and I am extremely happy that we have Christos Christou and Svetlana Gaydukova, two such experienced and distinguished experts, in our team,” said Jürgen Ulrich, CEO of Burda Russia.
Christou will also join the executive board of Burda Russia, and was previously general manager of Attica Media Bulgaria. Gaydukova joins from Sportima, where she was director of operations and client services.
The company says that although its central marketing structure remains the same, the new sales team will offer print brands along with digital solutions, events and other brand-related products.
Christou assumes his role on 1 September, while Gaydukova has already assumed her position.
