Business Insider Germany launches on 16 November 2015

In presentation and choice of topics, Business Insider Germany will orient itself towards the successful approach adopted by Business Insider in the United States, at the same time adding its own emphasis to the German context. As part of the resorts “Economics & Financials”, “Strategy & Career”, “Tech” and “Science”, the editorial team will present interviews with business personalities, comprehensive picture galleries, and videos.

Christin Martens, editor-in-chief of Business Insider Germany: “With the mindset of a start-up, we want to create a new way of business reporting in Germany. We will try a lot of new things, will work closely together with Business Insider in the USA and also create our own stories with a focus on the German economy.”

The offering will be run by finanzen.net, Germany’s largest financial portal and a company of Axel Springer SE. Axel Springer announced a majority takeover of Business Insider in the USA at the end of September 2015 and closed it by the end of October 2015.
