Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design to launch BA (Hons) Fashion Communication degree course
Susie Forbes, principal of the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, said: “We know from the 600 or so students that have been through our doors since we opened in 2013 that there is a tremendous appetite for an undergraduate programme here at the College. I am incredibly proud of our existing suite of courses and everything that we have achieved so far, but the fast-track, two-year BA (Hons) Fashion Communication degree will take us to an even higher level and represents a significant step forward.”
The BA was developed with the needs and requirements of the fashion business in mind and with the aim of ensuring graduates are capable, job-ready individuals with strong transferable skills and a comprehensive understanding of how the fashion business really works.
Students will study a range of subjects including: fashion history, media, digital marketing, journalism, styling, visual communication, business, branding and PR.
The College will continue to offer a range of shorter courses, including the ten-week Vogue Fashion Certificate, the four-week Vogue Summer Intensive, the weekend Miss Vogue course and week-long courses in Fashion Business, Fashion Styling and Fashion Journalism. The year-long Vogue Fashion Foundation Diploma will also run alongside the BA, with the opportunity to progress from one course to the other.
