Featured infographic: 37.7 million people in UK consume magazine brands across print and digital

NRS and comScore data reports 73.2 per cent of adults in the UK consumed a magazine brand during 2013. According to inPublishing, almost three quarters of British adults read a magazine brand. Their article in the latest NRS PADD – Print and Digital Data – reports that 73.2 per cent of the adult population consume magazine brands on a monthly basis.

There is no doubt, says NRS, about the importance of online when it comes to readership estimates, with the latest data reporting that magazine readership on PCs and laptops delivers a 7.9 per cent incremental increase to print across the magazine industry. The most notable increases are in women’s monthlies and weeklies, with 11 per cent and 11.2 per cent uplifts respectively. See the infographic below.

The NRS PADD fuses January – December 2013 NRS data with comScore data from November 2013.
