All four have now been invited to attend the 41st FIPP World Congress from 9-11 October in London. Celebrate with them there, hear more about how they achieved Rising Star status and find out what they – as the rising talent in our industry – think about the future of media when they join us for a panel discussion on Day 2 of the Congress.

In addition to the four overall Rising Stars winners, the judges recognised Bloomberg Media, Immediate Media Co and The River Group for the overall high standard of their entries.

James Hewes, president and CEO of FIPP said, “2017 was undoubtedly the most competitive year ever for the FIPP Rising Star Awards. The judges were impressed with the incredibly high standard of the entries and there was plenty of vigorous debate when choosing the four winners. This year’s FIPP Rising Stars represent the cream of young talent in our industry and fully deserve their achievement as this year’s winners.

“For the first time this year, we have also decided to award three company prizes, to recognise the consistently high quality of entries from those organisations. Congratulations to Bloomberg, Immediate Media Co. and The River Group for their demonstrable commitment to supporting and developing new talent.”
