Frances Evans has been appointed director of licensing and advertising at Burda International. Since the beginning of 2013, Evans has been responsible for the international licensing of Burda titles and coordinates all Burda International advertising sales activities and network communication.
Commenting on her new position, Evans said: “I believe the Burda Group, both in Germany and internationally, has many extremely exciting brands which are relevant for overseas markets and I really look forward to the challenge of building up a structured, successful and profitable business.”
Evans worked at Marquard Media for 16 years before joining Burda. She was responsible for titles including JOY, Playboy and Shape.
