Haymarket announces joint venture business in Asia
Haymarket Media Group and East and Partners – a specialist business banking market research and analysis firm – have announced the launch of a joint venture research business in Asia.
The venture will be based at Haymarket’s offices in Singapore, where the venture will expand East and Partners’ research business into Asia, meeting the market demand for an independent measure of key performance indicators in the business, corporate and investment banking markets.
Tim Waldron, managing director, Haymarket Asia said: “Growing the paid content element of our business is a cornerstone of the strategy for our brands in Asia, and East and Partners positioning in financial markets will help us to achieve this. We have many clients in common and the relationships are complementary, which will allow us to build to work with our clients on a broader base.”
The first phase of the joint venture between Haymarket and East and Partners will focus on the transaction banking sector, but the venture’s research methodology has the potential to be applied to other sectors and other Haymarket brands in the future.
