House & Garden’s The List goes from digital to print
The List combines interior designers, architects, garden designers, and specialists across the UK. All searchable by area, name and specialism. It has become an essential tool in allowing users a direct gateway to new and local talent, for any project large or small.
The List Directory will be its first print iteration – a ‘purse-sized’ guide to all The List members, accompanying the December issue of House & Garden at the tail end of the magazine’s 70th anniversary year.
Nicholas Coleridge, managing director of Condé Nast Britain commented: “I can’t think why we didn’t invent The List years ago. Sometimes ideas are so blindingly obvious, they are staring you in the face, until you finally come up with them. The List is simply one of those vital resources, and the House & Garden seal of authority makes you feel rather reassured, knowing that the people on The List meet the magazine’s approval. The other thing I love about The List is the constant coverage on social media, especially Instagram. I signed up for it and now, every day, I spot rooms and terraces and pieces of furniture that I wish were mine. The List is maddeningly tempting, and rather an expensive addiction.”
The List’s first print directory is open to new submissions until Friday 21st July, with all designers currently featured online included. Businesses can apply at houseandgarden.co.uk/the-list.
The List Directory accompanies the December 2017 issue of House & Garden, on newsstand Monday 6th November.
