Ilona Jurkiewicz joins Leaf Group

Ilona Jurkiewicz, formerly of WarnerMedia and Thompson Reuters, has joined Leaf Group as Senior Vice President of People. The move comes on the back of another senior appointment in June, when former Global Editor-in-Chief of VICE, Kate Lowenstein, joined the company to oversee its health and wellness websites, Well+Good and LIVESTRONG.com.

As the former Head of Human Resources at Xandr, a business unit within Warner Media and AT&T, Jurkiewicz served as the strategic people strategy partner, acting as HR deal lead in the successful sale process of the company to Microsoft. Prior to this, Jurkiewicz spent over a decade at Thomson Reuters, where her complete redesign of the recruiting process led to a 250% increase in applicant numbers in the UK division.
