Condé Nast Russia announces Vogue and Glamour appointments

“Fedorova has played a significant role in the success of Glamour since its inception. During her 8-year tenure as editor-in-chief of Glamour she has contributed excellence and creativity, spearheading significant editorial projects including a fashion shoot with Paralympic Athletes, and addressing the issues surrounding plus sized young women and how they are represented in the media,” commented Gigovskaya. “Under Fedorova’s guidance the Glamour Women of the Year Awards has become one of the most high-profile events in Moscow. With a commitment to quality and as an admired editor, Fedorova is the ideal candidate to now lead Vogue Russia as it continues its dominance of the media landscape.”

Having graduated from the Stroganov Academy of Applied Arts and Industrial Design, Masha Fedorova joined Condé Nast Russia in 2001 as Fashion Editor of GQ, quickly being promoted to Fashion Director. Fedorova was then involved in the launch of Glamour, working as Fashion Director for six years, before becoming Editor-in-Chief of the title in 2010.

This appointment is effective immediately, and follows Victoria Davydova’s decision to stand down from Vogue Russia after nearly 20 years with Condé Nast Russia. Fedorova will also continue to supervise Glamour as Editorial Director until the end of this year.

“Erdneeva has an innate understanding of the ideas and values of Glamour’s millennial audience, and will bring a fresh outlook to the multi-media brand. Combining print, digital, social, experiential and video touchpoints we look forward to this next phase, further engaging our loyal readers while also attracting a new audience. I am proud to see such talent nurtured within our company,” commented Gigovskaya.
