Esquire expands its digital push with new podcast

The brand’s podcast production further rounds out Esquire’s recent digital push, after the announcement of Esquire Classic, digitising its entire archive by offering subscribers full access for US$4.99 a month. 

The podcast will further delve into Esquire’s 82-year-old history to produce a “complete digital archive of the magazine,” says Editor-in-Chief, David Granger, in the official announcement. 

October 5th’s launch episode featured the magazine’s most-read story of all time, “Falling Man,” centered on the 9/11 photograph that captured an anonymous man forced to jump from the World Trade Center. Other upcoming episodes highlight Esquire’s series of essays on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s mental breakdown, as well as Nora Ephron’s story. David Brancaccio, an American radio and TV journalist, will play podcast host, withEsquire writers and editors, comedians and actors joining as guests.
