Hearst Magazines UK enhances commercial team and appoints group publishing director to lead Hearst Made

Judith Secombe, formerly Group Publishing Director for Good Housekeeping, has been made Group Publishing Director of Hearst Made, Hearst’s content partnerships division, which owns the Asda content account. She will be responsible for driving the growth of all Hearst’s contract publishing, content marketing, accreditation and B2B activities.

Sharon Douglas, currently Group Publishing Director of Prima, House Beautiful, Country Living and NetDoctor takes on responsibility for Good Housekeeping publishing in addition to her current role.

Duncan Chater, currently Group Publishing Director for Esquire and Red, takes on responsibility for Cosmopolitan. The brand recently appointed Farrah Storr as its new Editor, and has a bold new look.

Jacqueline Euwe, currently Publisher of Harper’s Bazaar and Town & Country, has been promoted to Group Publishing Director of these brands.

Jacqui Cave, publisher of ELLE and ELLE Decoration, has also been promoted to Group Publishing Director of both brands.

CEO of Hearst Magazines Anna Jones says: “These changes mean that we are in an excellent position to further expand our key brands into new areas. We think there is real growth potential in our content partnerships division, Hearst Made, and I am delighted to be appointing someone of Jude’s experience and skills to this crucial role.”

Judith Secombe will report to Ella Dolphin, Group Commercial Director. All other Group Publishing Directors will report to Michael Rowley, Managing Director, Brands.

Greg Witham, previously Group Publishing Director for Cosmopolitan, Digital Spy and Sugarscape has decided to leave the business.
