Meredith to acquire Shape brand from American Media

The agreement commences in May, when Shape and existing title Fitness will merge under the new ownership. The brands will still operate separate websites, according to the company.

Meredith National Media Group president Tom Harty said the acquisition “increases our reach among millennial women to over 23 million, creating an unmatched opportunity for advertisers to connect with this highly-valued audience across multiple media channels.”
