New speakers confirmed for FIPP Insider In New York

The list of quality speakers at the FIPP Insider Event in New York continues to grow with representatives from PressReader, Trusted Media Brands, Condé Nast, Dotdash Meredith, and Harvard Business Review all now confirmed.

Trevor Carroll, the Senior Director, Content Partnerships at PressReader, has experience across multiple industries like tech, advertising and media, developing business for companies such as News Corp, Dublin Airport Authority, and Reach Plc. Since joining PressReader over six years ago, he has brokered deals with some of the largest media companies worldwide, such as Dotdash Meredith, Conde Nast, Hearst, The Washington Post, PMC, and Vox Media.

Katharine Bailey is the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Product and Design at Condé Nast, and is responsible for redefining the brand’s product strategies. She has a career spanning more than 20 years with experience in leveraging scale and building digital products to engage new audiences at global media organisations. Bailey most recently held the role of General Manager, platforms, SVP digital at the Wall Street Journal & Dow Jones, where she was responsible for launching and growing membership businesses in partnership with Apple, Facebook, and Google.

Vincent Errico, President of Digital at Trusted Media Brands, is responsible for the company’s digital transformation strategy and execution. He is also actively involved in the company’s M&A initiatives. Errico is a global executive with a successful history of digital strategy and management experience. He previously served as SVP and General Manager of Lifestyle properties at Everyday Health Inc. – a leading publisher of digital health and wellness information – and held global strategic planning, product development, and marketing roles at Fortune 500 companies including American Express Company, Visa International and Charles Schwab & Co.

Stephen Orr serves as Editor-in-Chief of Better Homes & Gardens and is VP/Group Editorial Director of Dotdash Meredith. He oversees the editorial direction of the company’s food, home, and travel magazines. Prior to joining Dotdash Meredith, Orr was Executive Editor of Condé Nast Traveler and VP/Editorial Director for Martha Stewart Living. He’s held content creation and design leadership positions at brands including House & Garden, Domino, Epicurious, The New York Times Magazine, W, and WWD.

Sarah Moughty is the executive editor of HBR.org, where she oversees the daily content and production of the website. She previously was executive director, digital at Marketplace and managing editor, digital at FRONTLINE, where she oversaw a team of reporters, designers, developers and video producers, and helped guide the series’ ongoing shift to digital.

The new speakers join Kate Lewis, Chief Content Officer at Hearst, who will be also speaking at FIPP Insider in New York City in December and who’ll be in conversation with FIPP President and CEO, James Hewes. Lewis joined Hearst Magazines Digital Media in 2014 as Vice President, content operations, and Editorial Director. She was promoted to SVP in 2016. Under her leadership, monthly unique visitors across the Hearst Magazines Digital Media portfolio more than tripled. Lewis also oversaw content and strategy for the portfolio’s social media—which grew to an audience of 220 million—and was responsible for both editorial videos and branded content.
